Degree Programs

Be the professional student you’ve always dreamed of being – or learn something practical to land another “real” job. And if local universities don’t offer the course of study you need, you can always hop online. The sky – and cyberspace – is the limit for higher education offerings.

Bachelor’s Degree Programs

Belmont University

Offering degrees in Liberal Studies, Business Administration and Computer Network Technology and Nursing, University College allows students to complete their degrees on a flexible time schedule and at a variety of convenient locations.

Lipscomb University

Lipscomb's Adult Studies Program makes it possible to complete up to 30 semester hours a year on a part-time basis!

Middle Tennessee State University

The Division of Continuing Studies and Public Service’s resources include correspondence courses, telecourses (which can be delivered anywhere in the world), and evening and summer courses along with the programs listed below.


The Bachelor of University Studies degree program is an alternative, four-year degree for students choosing to pursue a broad-based educational experience. This program offers flexible course scheduling and may be particularly appropriate for students with prior credits that can be applied to a four-year degree.


Regents Online Degree Program

MTSU and other Tennessee Board of Regents schools offer two online degrees: Bachelor of Professional Studies with concentrations in Information Technology for Organizational Leadership and Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies.


Tennessee State University

TSU’s Center for Extended Education and Public Service serves non-traditional students on and off campus with credit, non-credit, Continuing Education Units, distance education, special contract training, and technical assistance programs. Special sessions and training conferences are offered throughout the year.


Trevecca Nazarene University

Trevecca’s Management and Adult Studies Division evening program in Bachelor of Arts in Management and Human Relations is designed for anyone over 22 with at least 62 hours of college credit. Students meet one night a week in an accelerated, cohort group format in which courses are taken one at a time in an integrated sequence. Students can earn credit toward their degree by documenting learning from prior life and career experiences. Classes can take place in Gallatin, Tullahoma, and Columbia.
